Colorado Benefits Center
In 2015, through a national funding opportunity, Colorado was selected to increase participation in the state Food Assistance program among low-income seniors.
In partnership with Colorado Department of Human Services (CDHS) the CO Benefits Center uses a proven model of data-driven outreach and enrollment assistance to conduct outreach and provide application assistance for vulnerable seniors who are likely eligible for but not enrolled in Food Assistance. In addition, through a partnership with the Department of Health Care Policy & Financing (HCPF), BDT provides assistance to individuals ages 18-60 who are disabled and enrolled in Medicaid and Medicare (“dual-eligibles”).
