At BDT, we spend a lot of time ensuring smooth handoffs – for our clients, our team and our partners. Now it is time to tend to an important handoff at the leadership level. After more than 13 years at Benefits Data Trust, I have decided it is time for me to transition from the role of CEO.
It has been a great honor for me to lead BDT and there is so much to be proud of and grateful for.
First and foremost, I am thankful for the BDT team, board, partners and funders. Together we have generated meaningful change for families and the systems that serve them.
We have literally helped hundreds of thousands of people better feed their families, afford housing, and access healthcare. We have demonstrated across the country how data and technology can and should be used to better support families on a path to economic mobility and better health.
We have stretched across sectors to define and leverage the true return generated when people are better able to meet their most basic needs. And most importantly, we have built a best-in-class team of people here at BDT who are relentless in their pursuit to create a better way to serve people and connect them to essential benefits and services.
With great leadership at all levels of the organization, a healthy financial position, and game changing opportunities in its grasp, BDT is poised to continue to do great things and continue to dramatically change how people can and should be served.
I love this organization, what it stands for, what we have accomplished together, and what is still to come. I will continue to work with the board, partners and team to ensure a healthy transition and will stay on as CEO until my successor begins. Then, I will take a little time off to recharge and rebalance before exploring what comes next.
So now it is time to find the next CEO. With your help, we have no doubt that we will find a true superstar. We are partnering with the national search firm job description with your network.
My greatest of thanks to you, our allies in this work. BDT would not be what it is today without you. You all do amazing things and I am inspired daily by your grit, determination and spirit! It is with great anticipation and excitement that I look ahead to this next chapter for me personally and for BDT.
