Lisa Morrison Butler

Lisa is Executive Vice President and Chief Impact Officer at Results for America, a national nonprofit organization that helps policymakers at all levels of government harness evidence and data to solve challenges. In her role, Lisa drives broader awareness of and support for RFA’s impact and engages key stakeholders. Lisa previously served as Commissioner of the Chicago Department of Family & Support Services in two mayoral administrations. During her tenure, she led organizational transformation aimed at greater overall impact, overhauling the department’s approach to contracting and improving performance, embedding a focus on outcomes across seven program divisions and encompassing 60 program models. Earlier in her career, Lisa held senior positions in the non-profit and private sectors. Lisa holds a BS degree from Indiana University and pursued post-graduate studies at the J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management, Northwestern University, and the University of Chicago.
